Divis and the Black Mountain offer spectacular views across Northern Ireland. On a clear day you can see 40 miles across the Irish Sea to Scotland and in the other direction, the Mourne Mountains are clearly visible.

The mountains rest in the heart of the Belfast Hills, & have recently come alive with the arrival of Northern Irelands highest coffee shop - Divis Coffee Barn - so after a nice hot coffee & a scone you can follow The Ridge Trail over to the edge of the hills to wee a fantastic view of the City of Belfast. The varied landscape is home to a host of wildlife including wild ponies & there are walking trails along a variety of terrain: through heath, on stone tracks, along boardwalks and road surface.

I have taken many photographs here and they vary wildly depending on the light so I have started this gallery dedicated specifically to these mountains and the views from them - I hope you like them
